As part of the legacy of WXCC Bathurst, a WXCC junior fund through the The Athletics Foundation has been established to support our junior athletes on their way to to the World Cross-Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia in March 2024
For The Future of Athletics.
The WXCC Junior Fund will support the junior athletes selected to participate at the 2024 World Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia
Chris Wardlaw is kicking off the fund with a $5,000 donation to help the athletes get to to the World Championships.
"I am going to kick start the Junior World Cross Country Fund with a $5000 contribution. Given a start with variable contributions from Alumni and Friends we should be able to build enough for a first distribution by the The Athletics Foundation.
I know many of us have indelible memories of our World Cross experiences. Let’s try to make a difference for those young runners who follow our tradition in coming years."

Junior athletes are required to pay a levy to participate in the WXCC. Donate today to ensure no athlete misses out on running their race.
